Expected outcome

What you’ll achieve

  • A consent-safe campaign queued for the intended audience and time, with measurable delivery and engagement results.
Before you start

What you’ll need

  • A saved marketing email
  • A valid audience
  • A configured sender
  • Publish permission
Step by step

Follow the workflow

  1. 1

Open Actions → Messages → Emails

Confirm the active workspace, then open the saved draft. A configured sender should be visible without a verification, sandbox, or disabled-sending warning.

  2. 2

    Select Send test email

Verify sender identity, subject, preheader, personalization, responsive layout, product recommendations and fallbacks, every destination, and unsubscribe behavior in a real inbox.

  3. 3

    Validate the audience

Review audience rules, current recipient estimate, email marketing consent, exclusions, suppressions, and whether the content is appropriate for that segment. Do not rely on an old audience count.

  4. 4

    Choose delivery timing

In Campaign settings choose Send immediately, Custom date/time, or AI-optimized over the next 24 hours. For scheduled delivery, verify the displayed timezone and that time-sensitive prices or offers remain valid.

  5. 5

Save and return to the email list

Confirm the final draft, audience, and timing once more. Use the email row’s send action to queue the external campaign; publish permission is required.

  6. 6

    Confirm the queue result

The campaign should move to queued or scheduled, then sent. Failed and skipped counts require review; a successful save alone does not mean messages were delivered.

  7. 7

    Open Analytics after delivery

Review delivered, open, click, bounce, complaint, and unsubscribe metrics, then inspect link and campaign performance before reusing the message.

Quality check

Verify your work

  • The email list shows queued, scheduled, or sent—not merely draft
  • Recipient, failed, and skipped counts reconcile with the current audience
  • Analytics begins populating after provider events arrive
Troubleshooting

If something doesn’t look right

Send is unavailable

Confirm the sender is active, the draft is saved, the audience is valid, and your role includes publishing.

Recipient count is unexpectedly low

Inspect consent, suppression, exclusion, and connector rules.

Scheduled time is wrong

Reopen the draft before queueing and verify the displayed timezone.
