Expected outcome

What you’ll achieve

  • A reviewable Meta catalog draft with an intentional product selection and presentable customer-facing fields.
Step by step

Follow the workflow

  1. 1

Open Data → Own Data → Catalogs

Confirm the connector and workspace, then review existing draft status, destination, product count, and any prior publishing errors.

  2. 2

    Confirm source and destination

Review the selected product source, choose the intended Meta ad account and synchronized Business, then add an existing catalog ID only when this draft should update that destination.

  3. 3

    Select products explicitly

Choose synchronized products with usable imagery, or use the best-seller fallback count shown in the form. The current editor prepares a Meta catalog draft; Google feed export is identified separately in the interface.

  4. 4

    Remove unsuitable products

Leave unavailable, incomplete, restricted, duplicate, wrong-market, or missing-destination items out of the draft before external review.

  5. 5

    Review the prepared products

Inspect the images, titles, price, currency, status, and any generation or publishing error shown on each prepared product card.

  6. 6

    Publish only after review

Save the destination settings and use the explicit publish control only after the product selection, Meta account, business identity, and customer-facing fields have been approved.

Quality check

Verify your work

  • The product source and intended Meta destination are correct
  • No sampled item is unavailable, incomplete, or in the wrong market
  • The intended Meta account and catalog destination are visible before publishing
Troubleshooting

If something doesn’t look right

No products are available

Confirm the selected connector contains synchronized products with usable images.

A prepared product is wrong

Remove it from the next explicit selection or repair the source product record.

Publishing fails

Review the displayed account, business, catalog identifiers, permissions, and per-product error.

Scope

Limitations and safeguards

Limit

The current workspace prepares explicit Meta catalog drafts. It does not yet provide a generic rule-based catalog engine, and Google feed export is shown as a future destination.
